Inspired by the turbulent salty shores of Zeeland

Sir Francis is a small batch distilled liqueur made with freshly roasted fully traceable Colombian specialty coffee, combined with its own dried coffee cherry husk known as cascara. The coffee and cascara both come from the same bean farmed by the Argote family in Colombia’s famous Nariño region.
Cascara is a product that often gets discarded as a waste product because the world only demands the seed of the coffee cherry to make our beloved cup of joe. However this beautiful product has a unique flavour that reminds us of stone fruit, raisin, steamed pear and black tea.
During the process of making coffee from cherry to the coffee bean as we know it, the cascara and bean are separated in the process early on. We decided to bring these inseparable components back together and combine them with Eastern Scheldt seawater in a liqueur that is unique, fully traceable and a true addition to every bar and home cabinet.

Best enjoyed by mixing into your classic espresso martini, straight as digestif or by letting your imagination decide.
